Cleveland.com Writes About the Room
Check out Cleveland.com’s article about “The Room.”
What makes “The Room” so wretched? Amateurish acting and even worse dialogue, continuity errors, plot cul-de-sacs and characters who appear and disappear for no reason. Shots of San Francisco’s skyline are shown after nearly every scene lest we forget where the action is happening.
Some scenes are blurry. Some we wish were blurry, like the boring, passionless sex scenes.
Watching all that makes you want to wash your eyeballs with bleach — and see it again.

If you haven’t had a reason to bleach your eyes out yet, be sure to mark your calendar for Feb. 17, when we’ll be showing the film here in Wichita.
Troll 2 Recap
We had a great showing last night at The Anchor. Folks from all over Wichita came out to be entertained by Troll2, but ended up getting an education on the negative effects of being a vegetarian. Primarily that you’re more likely to be Goblin food than a omnivore.
If you attended the screening, or if you’ve already seen the film, we’d love your reflections on what else the film is trying to teach us. We won’t choose which of the many symbols to focus on – the popcorn, the clover-leaf birthmarks or the curdled milk are all ripe for analysis.
If you need a refresher, you can view the full-length movie at Hulu.com, once they overcome their server issues.
To encourage feedback, our favorite commenter will win a double-decker bologna sandwich at our next screening.

February Screening – The Room
That’s right. The film that started it all (all being Hurts So Good Films) is back.
If you haven’t experienced Tommy Wiseau’s masterpiece, you don’t know what you’re missing.
We’re still working out the details, so stay tuned for more information.
January Screening – Troll 2
We know January isn’t typically a month filled with horror-inducing films.
Fortunately, Troll2 is anything but.
